Fiber Laser Machine Pricing & Configuration
Straight talk about what drives the number, what's always included, and how to figure out whether the math works for your shop.
How pricing works
Configuration decides the price
Two shops can buy the same machine line and land thousands apart, because they're running different work. Here's what moves it.
Power (wattage)
1.5 kW to 60 kW. The single biggest price driver, and the one most worth getting right.
Bed size or tube length
Sheet envelope, or standard tube up to 20' with custom lengths available.
Chuck count
2-, 3-, or 4-chuck configurations on tube lines for better support and shorter remnants.
Automation
Shuttle exchange tables, auto loader/unloader, and material handling options.
Axis configuration
3-axis standard; 5-axis upgrade on tube for bevels and compound angles.
Tonnage & width
On press brakes: 60–300+ ton, 4'–12' width, plus tooling for your parts.
No surprises

ROI framing
What the machine is replacing
Most shops don't compare a laser against nothing — they compare it against what they're already spending. Before you look at a payment, add up a year of these:
- Outsourced cutting invoices, plus freight both directions
- Grinding and deburring labor behind plasma or mechanical cutting
- Secondary finishing before paint, powder, or plating
- Scrap and rework from cuts that missed tolerance
- Fit-up hours on weldments that don't self-locate
- Jobs you turned down because you couldn't promise a date
Put that annual number next to a financed monthly payment. For most shops running steady cut volume, the conversation gets short.
